Job Description

Masstron Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based engineering company providing fiber optic products and customised communication solutions for industrial sectors.

We are looking for a TechnicalSales Engineer to support and grow our business through solution-based selling, working closely with engineers, project teams, and customers in the industry.

This role is suitable for candidates with technical or engineering experience who are interested in a performance-driven role with commission incentives, while remaining closely involved with engineering solutions and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage customers to understand technical and operational requirements

  • Promote fiber optic products and customized communication solutions

  • Participate in technical discussions, customer meetings, and site visits

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and basic technical documentation

  • Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams

  • Follow up on enquiries, proposals, and ongoing projects

  • Develop and maintain long-term customer accounts

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field

  • 3-8 years of relevant working experience
    (engineering, technical support, project coordination, system integration, or similar roles)

  • Comfortable communicating with engineers and technical stakeholders

  • Willingness to learn sales, negotiation, and account development skills

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset

Remuneration Structure

  • Base Salary + Commission

  • Commission is tied to:

    • Closed sales

    • Project value

    • Key account growth

  • Clear and transparent incentive structure

  • Higher earnings linked directly to performance and contribution (uncapped, based on performance)

  • Structured training on fiber optic systems and solutions

  • Guidance on sales process, customer engagement, and proposal preparation

  • Career progression to Senior Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Manager
