In this role, you will be responsible for developing and expanding business relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering simulation-driven solutions that create true value for industries across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers to generate new business for ANSYS simulation software and services.
- Understand customer engineering challenges and recommend tailored ANSYS solutions across structural, fluid, thermal, electromagnetic, systems, and multiphysics domains.
- Prepare and execute comprehensive account plans including customer profiles, value mapping, strategy, goals, tactics, and milestones.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets, driving cross-sell, upsell, and new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities.
- Generate leads through prospecting activities, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events or seminars.
- Maintain deep product and industry knowledge to position ANSYS as a leader in simulation-driven innovation.
- Work closely with technical application engineers, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver best-in-class customer support and drive customer satisfaction.
- Submit accurate sales forecasts, progress updates, and ensure proper documentation of sales activities.
We would love to hear from you if:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Strong background or understanding of simulation/CAE software (structural, thermal, CFD, electromagnetics, systems).
- Experience in applying engineering design, FEA, CFD, optimization, multiphysics, additive manufacturing, or digital twin technologies is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in solution selling, consultative sales, or technical sales in engineering software or related sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver customized value propositions.
- Ability to develop and execute detailed sales and account strategies, including clear objectives and milestones.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English.
