Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Founders

About Us

Krosslinker is a venture-backed deep-tech startup developing next-generation aerogel materials that unlock breakthroughs in thermal insulation and energy efficiency. Our innovations span high-performance coatings for buildings and critical infrastructure to advanced cold-chain packaging solutions.

In May 2025, we won the Grand Prize at the Temasek Foundation Liveability Challenge, standing out from over 1,200 global climate-tech entries. Backed by leading cleantech VCs and strategic investors, we are now scaling our semi-commercial production line in Singapore, expanding customer pilots across Asia-Pacific, and accelerating commercialization of our advanced aerogel technologies.

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically oriented commercial leader to drive the adoption of Krosslinker's advanced aerogel technologies across multiple sectors. This role sits at the interface of product development and market deployment, requiring the ability to understand material performance, validate applications in the field, and translate technical insights into commercial value.

The candidate will lead technical sales engagements, oversee pilot execution, and ensure customer adoption, while also shaping commercialization strategy and positioning. This is a hands-on role requiring a mix of technical acumen, business development skills, and strategic thinking to scale advanced materials into real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Sales & Applications

- Engage with customers to identify thermal management challenges across infrastructure, coatings, cold-chain packaging, and industrial processes.
- Design and oversee pilot protocols, coordinating with engineering teams to validate product performance under field conditions.
- Translate customer requirements into product specifications and provide feedback to R&D for continuous improvement.

2. Commercialization & Business Development

- Lead technical-commercial proposals, including thermal simulation data, energy savings analyses, and ROI frameworks.
- Develop application notes, case studies, and technical documentation for use in customer engagements.
- Drive adoption of advanced coatings and insulation products across multiple sectors and geographies.
- Shape commercialization strategy by identifying high-value applications, market entry pathways, pricing frameworks, and partnership opportunities.

3. Cross-functional & External Collaboration

- Partner with R&D, operations, and manufacturing teams to align customer needs with product development.
- Collaborate with material scientists, engineers, and domain specialists to validate product performance and de-risk technical adoption.
- Engage external experts and advisors to support field trials, application testing, and technical due diligence.

Candidate Profile

- Strong background in engineering, finance, strategy, or commercial leadership, with a demonstrated ability to engage in technical markets.
- Experience in business development, technical sales, or solution commercialization in industrial, chemicals, coatings, or advanced materials sectors is highly valued.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts persuasively in a commercial context, bridging engineering insights with customer value propositions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across R&D, operations, and customer environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, resilient under ambiguity, and motivated to create impact in sustainability and climate-tech.
