My client, an award-winning data & AI consultancy, has secured a multi-year engagement with a global FMCG. We're partnering them to assemble a new squad to modernise the client's analytics estate and deliver next-gen decision-support engines.
We are assisting them in hiring for a Technical Business Analyst to join a client-facing program team. You will work closely with Implementation Engineers and Project Managers to translate business needs into technical deliverables, ensuring that projects run smoothly from requirements gathering through to documentation, testing, and post-go-live support.
What you'll do
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, documenting requirements, use cases, workflows, and dependencies
- Collaborate with Implementation Engineers and Developers to create test plans, UAT cases, and acceptance criteria
- Produce and maintain artefacts such as business requirement documents (BRDs), flowcharts, timelines, and system process maps
- Participate in workshops and status meetings, engaging with end-users, IT groups, and senior stakeholders to clarify needs and remove blockers
- Support the delivery process by tracking milestones, monitoring risks/issues, and providing timely updates to project leads
- Post-implementation, document lessons learned, handover packs, and user guides to ensure seamless knowledge transfer
What we're looking for
- 25 years of experience in a business analyst / business technology analyst role, preferably in consulting, enterprise systems, or large-scale transformation projects
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Proficiency in tools such as Confluence, Jira, MS Visio, or Lucidchart for creating flows, timelines, and project artefacts
- Familiarity with SQL or Python (ability to read/debug simple scripts is a plus, but coding is not core to the role)
- Experience supporting system implementation projects (ERP, data platforms, SaaS tools, or enterprise applications)
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
