The Learning Lab (TLL) is a leading organisation in the private education sector. We are committed to recruiting talented and dynamic individuals who share our passion for nurturing a love of learning.

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruitment, with a primary focus on hiring operations staff.

Your responsibilities will include sourcing candidates through various channels, coordinating and conducting interviews, managing the selection process, and representing TLL at career fairs and recruitment events. You will also partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective, long-term recruitment strategies.

To succeed in this role, you should be proactive, resourceful, and able to build strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Ultimately, you will play a key role in building and sustaining a strong talent pipeline to support the organisation's current and future hiring needs.

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer administration.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and assist in sourcing suitable candidates through appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, databases, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Assist in preparing recruitment reports and tracking hiring metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness.
  • Support internal recruitment processes, including coordinating interviews for internal mobility opportunities.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies when required and assist in managing candidate submissions.
  • Participate in career fairs and employer branding initiatives to support talent attraction efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide administrative support for onboarding documentation and pre-employment processes.
  • Support the coordination of employee engagement activities, internal communications, and HR initiatives.
  • Support ad-hoc recruitment and HR-related projects as assigned.

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong track record in high-volume recruitment, preferably within the education industry.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of various recruitment tools, sourcing platforms, and recruitment analytics.
  • Demonstrates HR business partnering capabilities, including strategic thinking and strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
