Position Overview
As Tencent continues to expand its cloud business across Southeast Asia, we are looking for a Global Talent Sourcing Intern to support our hiring efforts in this fast-growing region. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in talent research, market mapping, and candidate engagement across multiple SEA markets. This internship is ideal for those who want to understand how great cloud teams are built, develop insights into the tech recruitment landscape, and contribute directly to Tencent's regional growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to understand hiring needs for Tencent Cloud roles across SEA markets.
- Conduct market research and talent mapping to identify potential candidate pools and sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain pipelines for high-demand roles across various SEA countries.
- Engage with potential candidates via email, social platforms, and phone to introduce Tencent opportunities and assess interest.
- Support referral initiatives and creative outreach campaigns to expand talent reach.
- Track and report sourcing data to help optimize recruitment strategies and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in any discipline; prior internship experience in talent acquisition or sourcing (especially in tech/internet) is preferred.
- Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship starting September 2025.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese Mandarin, essential for collaborating with APAC stakeholders and candidate outreach.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to support sourcing efforts.
- Adaptable to cross-cultural and cross-regional work, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
