Job Description
Opportunities & Exposure
- Monthly Reporting
- Assist the business controller for month-end closing tasks: monthly reporting to HQ, reporting of retail/net sales of SEA region (SG/MY/TH/ID/PH)
- Consolidate commentaries on topline movements from countries
- Report door level retail/net sales in databases and ensure maintenance and accuracy
- Reporting of budget/forecast figures in existing databases
- Assist in preparing the P&L by country/channel/door to aid the strategic distribution decisions
- Work with the controller and sales team to analyse the effectiveness of promotional campaigns
- Work with the local markets to understand and analyse the key drivers of growth and risks vs. last year and last forecast
- FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
- Assist business controller in consolidated package reporting for global/regional purpose
- P&L exposure and analyses on business performance (topline analyses, profitability, stock level analysis, door trend, sales seasonality etc.)
- Ad-hoc analysis and P&L simulation where needed
- Work with the business controller to automate/simplify the finance templates
- Data optimization
- Automate/simplify existing templates
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Maintain the currently developed Power-BI tool and look for opportunities to enhance it further
Qualifications
- Able to commit full time internship from Jan 26 to Jun 26
- A team player with good inter-personal and communication skills
- Motivated, detailed and effective time management
- Strong multi-tasker with good planning, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing environment and business needs
- Proficient in MS Office applications, strong excel and data analysis/visualisation skills
