Work you'll do

  • Play a pivotal role in driving financial success across large-scale real estate development projects.
  • Manage project accounting activities, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Assist in financial modelling of investment projects
  • Partner with stakeholders to align financial insights with strategic objectives and transformation initiatives.
  • Your ability to combine technical accounting expertise with strategic thinking will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end project accounting for development projects, including capital expenditure tracking and compliance with IFRS/AASB standards.
  • Collaborate with development project managers, finance teams, and offshore delivery teams.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Design and implement improved workflows for project accounting and financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial risks and maintain strong internal controls

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Proven industry experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial control with minimum 7 years of experience in project accounting, ideally within the real estate development sector.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale property development projects and associated financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and planning tools (Hyperion, Anaplan).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.
  • CA, CPA or equivalent qualification is mandatory
