1 year contract under employment agency payroll
Work location: Sin Ming Drive
Salary: Up to $3890 + incentive of performance bonus up to 1 month basic salary subject to reporting manager's appraisal
- About 6 days per month would need to work on 12hour shift roster, the rest are office hours 8.30am to 6pm (Mon - Fri)
- Open bidding exercises usually start on the 1st Monday and 3rd Monday of the month from 12 Noon and lasts for 3 working days
- Transportation on claimable basis (for call back/support on weekends where needed)
- Shift allowance - subjected to number of day or night shifts completed at $10 per day shift & $22 per night shift
Bidding Exercise Period working hour:
- Day Shift: 7am to 7pm
- Night Shift: 7pm to 7am
Non-Bidding Exercise Period working hour:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 6pm
- Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Key responsibilities
- Perform OCOE bidding System Operator function during the bidding exercise.
- Perform system health status check on network and firewall devices, servers, load balancers, monitoring tools and UPS.
- Perform, track and monitor system backups based on established Backup and Recovery Procedures and schedules
- Monitor the OCOE system during exercise.
- Administer OCOE removal media movement.
- Escalate any backup issues to the TSM Backup Administrator.
What we're looking for
- Singaporean (Required to clear Cat 2 clearance and pre-employment check before onboarding)
- 2 - 3 years experience in Data Centre operations
- Must be flexible to work both office hours and 12 hour shift
- Knowledge of tape management process including monitoring, tracking and changing of backup tape media
- Working knowledge of Windows environment
- Need to serve 2 months notice when hired for this project
