Location: Client Site (based on assignment)

Job Overview

The System Administrator is responsible for system administration and management across hospital environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security of IT systems, including OS, infrastructure, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

1. System & Infrastructure Management

• Manage operating systems: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu), Solaris, IBM AIX, Oracle Linux
• Administer system services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Azure AD
• Support infrastructure: clustering solutions, SAN/NAS storage, virtualization platforms

2. Incident & Problem Management

• Respond to system incidents based on severity and SLA requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in high-pressure environments
• Follow incident management processes and workflows

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and operational checklists
• Provide reports on system performance, capacity planning, and incident analysis

4. Collaboration & Support

• Coordinate with vendors, telcos, ISPs, and service providers
• Support system transitions and onboarding activities

5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

Qualifications:

. Education: Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.

. Experience:

o Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing system and hardware infrastructure.

. Certifications:

o ITIL certified, relevant certifications for specific systems (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, RHCSA).

. Skills:

o Strong technical knowledge of system and hardware management.

o Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

. Ability to work on different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

. On standby and contactable 24/7 for support and escalation.
