Software Engineer (Application Support)

Salary: Up to SGD 6200 (Depending upon experience and skills)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

. You will work with GI delivery manager to develop and implement applications to support Business needs.

. Liaise with the infrastructure support and development teams.

. Oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company's applications.

. Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly address and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

. Work with our infrastructure team to test and complete various server and network upgrade projects.

REQUIREMENTS

. Between 3 - 5 years of Application Development or technical project coordination

. Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.

. Understanding of application architecture, integrations, and REST APIs.

. Good understanding of infrastructure and software development life cycle.

. Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.

. Good understanding of software development life cycle models (both Waterfall and Agile).

. Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments.

. Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage

. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

. Able to contribute individually and collaborate well with cross-functional team.

. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

. Hands-on experience in Linux, Unix is an added advantage.

. Experience in working with vendors to resolve complex technical issues is an added advantage.

. Proactive individual who takes ownership and drives tasks through to completion.

Technical Skills:

. Spring boot, React JS, Web services

. Oracle DB, MS SQL DB

. SDLC process
