System Engineer

Role: System Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to manage and optimize our Linux server infrastructure for a high-performance trading environment. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining systems, ensuring platform stability, and automating operational tasks. Youll also develop scripts and tools to improve efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage server infrastructure across local and third-party data centers.
• Automate system administration tasks and develop scripts/tools for operational efficiency.
• Monitor and tune system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform reliability.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Expertise with Linux distributions (RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Experience managing Kubernetesclusters and large-scale cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python or Bash).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios).
• Knowledge of virtualization, orchestration (VMware, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Understanding of storage platforms and networking protocols.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and performance tuning for low-latency systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
