Job Summary
You will lead the analysis, design, and delivery of AML/Fircosoft application solutions within the banking domain, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and define detailed functional specifications based on functional and non-functional requirements documents to ensure comprehensive solution design.
- Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts to clarify and validate functional and non-functional requirements for accurate specification development.
- Establish and maintain traceability between functional specifications and business requirements to support project alignment and auditability.
- Create technical design documents that comply with architectural roadmaps, development best practices, and security requirements to guide implementation.
- Oversee vendor technical design documentation to ensure consistency with project standards during vendor-led implementations.
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specifications and technical designs during build, test, and deployment phases to ensure quality delivery.
- Partner with Production Support teams to establish IT operational readiness and support processes post-deployment.
- Analyze and classify test findings escalated by the Test Manager as defects or change requests to facilitate accurate issue resolution.
- Provide impact assessments and effort estimations for project change requests to support informed decision-making.
- Work with the Test Manager to review and refine test plans and functional test scopes to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Interpret business needs and conduct gap analysis to translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze and document end-to-end business processes to support solution design and stakeholder understanding.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to drive project progress and resolve issues.
- Apply expertise in Anti Money Laundering (AML) applications, specifically AML Fircosoft, to deliver compliant and effective solutions.
- Utilize Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle SQL skills to support application development and data management.
- Develop and maintain Java and Windows/Unix scripting to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
- Employ Control-M or similar scheduling tools to manage and monitor batch jobs within the application environment.
- Leverage experience with DevOps tools and pipelines to integrate development and deployment processes efficiently.
- Operate within Linux and Windows platforms to support application deployment and maintenance.

. Anti Money Laundering application experience.
. Required to have experience working with AML Fircosoft applications. Continuity Screening
. Watchlist Management (FUM, FMM, FML, FFC etc)
. Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret business needs, conduct gap analysis, and translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
. Strong capability in process analysis and documentation of end-to-end business flows.
. Strong communication and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
. Good to have knowledge of Payment screening, or financial messaging, e.g. MQ, ISO20022, SWIFT.
KEY Domain / Technical Skills
. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL.
. JAVA and Windows/Unix scripting. development experience.
. Familiarity with Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
. Experience working with DevOps tools and pipelines or usage as part of the integrated development environment.
. Good to have experience with MQ messaging technologies.
. Have worked in Linux and Windows platform experience
