Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field
35 years of relevant hands on experience in software, data, or visualization development
Demonstrable experience in:
Application development (Java, .NET, Python, Node.js)
Frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) where required
Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
AI/ML development concepts and tools
Visualization tools: Power BI or AWS QuickSight
Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Data/AI, DevOps) are beneficial but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities
Application Engineering
Develop backend and frontend applications
Build APIs and microservices
Modernize and enhance existing on premise applications
Develop cloud native and hybrid applications
Ensure secure coding, scalability, and performance optimization
Cloud Development (AWS Focus)
Develop and deploy applications using AWS services
Integrate serverless and managed cloud services
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Support cloud deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Data, AI & ML Enablement
Support AI/ML pipelines and cloud AI workflows
Assist in data preparation, feature engineering, and model deployment
Work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams
Support MLOps, model monitoring, and cloud AI platform activities
Dashboard / BI Development
Design and build dashboards using Power BI or AWS QuickSight
Conduct data modelling and create semantic layers
Integrate with cloud and on prem data sources
Implement row level security, access controls, and governance standards
Enhance and troubleshoot BI dashboards
Support, Operations & Documentation
Provide L2/L3 support for applications and dashboards
Perform bug fixing, production issue resolution, and performance tuning
Develop technical documentation, design artefacts, SOPs, and KT materials
Core Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities
Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams: development, cloud, AI/ML, BI
Comfortable supporting both operational activities and new project delivery
Strong communication and documentation skills
