A leading global financial services organisation is hiring a Senior Vice President, Transfer Agency to lead its APAC operations, with a strong focus on client servicing, team leadership, and operational transformation.
This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing teams across Singapore and Hong Kong, with significant exposure to regional clients and global stakeholders.
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Fluent Mandarin (spoken & written) - essential for client coverage across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Greater China
- Proven people management experience - must have led teams (ideally across multiple locations)
- Experience in fund operations / fund administration/transfer agency
- Strong client-facing experience - handling escalations and senior stakeholder management
- Experience working in a matrix, global organisation
- Track record in driving process improvements / automation (AI mindset preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop teams across Singapore and Hong Kong
- Drive a strong team culture, improve engagement, and address attrition challenges
- Act as the senior on-the-ground leader in Singapore
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary escalation point for APAC clients
- Build strong, data-driven relationships with institutional clients and investors
- Support new client onboarding and fund launches across the region
Operational Excellence & Transformation
- Drive automation and digitalisation initiatives, including AI-led efficiencies
- Continuously improve processes to enhance service delivery and reduce risk
- Ensure all service levels and KPIs are consistently met
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Maintain strong oversight on risk and control frameworks
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Participate in local governance committees and reporting structures
Regional Oversight - Collaborate with global teams and manage outsourced/offshore operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in fund services / asset management operations
- Background in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, or related operations
- Strong understanding of mutual funds / traditional fund structures
- Experience working with clients in Hong Kong / Taiwan / Singapore
- Confident operating in a complex, matrixed global environment
- Proven ability to lead through change and transformation
