About This Role

We are hiring a Surface Protection Specialist (experienced) or Vehicle Aesthetics Technician (junior / trainee) to join our installation team. You will be responsible for solar film and PPF installations on premium vehicles, working to the highest quality standards in the industry.

Senior hires will play a lead role in setting our installation standards and mentoring junior team members. Junior hires will be trained hands-on with a structured path to advance.

We also welcome candidates from car detailing, vinyl wrapping, automotive bodywork preparation or spray painting backgrounds who want to specialise in PPF and solar film. If you have steady hands, a sharp eye and genuine pride in surface quality - we will invest in training you.

What You Will Do

- Install solar window film to a flawless standard - no bubbles, no dust inclusions, clean edges and precise cuts

- Apply Paint Protection Film on bonnets, bumpers, full panels and full-body applications

- Prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly - decontamination, clay bar treatment and surface inspection before every job

- Use plotters, cutting tools, heat guns and squeegees correctly and safely

- Handle premium vehicles with full protection of paintwork, seats and interior trim at all times

- Inspect every job before vehicle handover - zero compromise on finish

- (Senior hires) Train and coach junior technicians set installation standards and SOPs

Salary and Career Path

Junior / Trainee: $2,400 - $2,600 basic + 0.5% incentive after 3 months

Mid-level (2-5 yrs): $2,800 - $3,200 basic + 0.75% incentive

Senior / Master (5+ yrs): $3,400 - $3,800 basic + 1% incentive + training allowance

Career stages:

Stage 1 - Vehicle Aesthetics Technician (Trainee): 0 to 6 months, $2,400 - $2,600

Stage 2 - Vehicle Aesthetics Technician: 6 to 18 months, $2,800 - $3,200

Stage 3 - Surface Protection Specialist: 18 to 36 months, $3,400 - $3,800

Stage 4 - Lead Specialist / Training Supervisor: 36 months and above, $3,800 - $4,800+

Annual Wage Supplement (AWS / 13th month bonus) considered for confirmed staff.

What We Need

Essential:

- Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident

- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of sustained precision installation work

- Hands-on experience in surface finishing, film application, car detailing, vinyl wrapping, bodywork preparation or a closely related trade

- Steady hands and exceptional attention to detail

- Patient and methodical - quality installation cannot be rushed

- Positive, coachable attitude

- Valid Class 3 / 3A driving licence

Advantageous (Senior):

- 5 or more years of hands-on PPF and / or solar film installation experience

- Experience with premium European vehicles

- Proficiency with pattern-cutting plotters (Graphtec, Roland or equivalent)

- Familiarity with Xpel, Llumar, 3M, SolarGard or equivalent product lines

- Prior experience training junior installers

Advantageous (Junior):

- Any experience in car detailing, polishing, vinyl application or surface preparation

- ITE / Nitec in Automotive Technology, Mechatronics or related trade
