Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Hair Stylist to support senior stylists in delivering exceptional hair services, develop skills, and grow a career in the hair industry at NutriBeauty Aesthetic Clinic, Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with cutting, coloring, and styling hair to support client service delivery
- Prepare and organize workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient service operations
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to uphold salon hygiene and safety standards
- Support client consultations by gathering information and assisting in recommending suitable hair treatments
- Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively and addressing client needs
- Develop and update knowledge of hair products and styling techniques to enhance service quality
- Participate in training sessions to stay current with industry trends and improve technical skills
- Collaborate with team members to meet salon goals and maintain a positive work environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or certificate in Hair Styling or related field
- Valid Singapore hairdressing license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients and team members effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality hair services
- Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience using digital styling tools and software to enhance hair design
- Knowledge of current hair trends and advanced styling techniques
- Certification in specialized hair services such as coloring or hair extensions
