A growing international organisation is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to support cross-border procurement and logistics operations across Asia and global markets. This role is suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in international trade, procurement coordination, and logistics management.
You will work closely with overseas suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations while maintaining compliance with regional trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes with overseas suppliers, including purchase order tracking and contract coordination
- Coordinate international shipments via sea and air freight while monitoring delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with import and export procedures, customs requirements, and trade documentation
- Act as the key contact point for suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement and logistics workflows for better efficiency
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations with exposure to international trade
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and import/export documentation
- Experience working with suppliers and logistics partners across Singapore, Malaysia, China, or ASEAN markets
- Familiarity with ERP systems or logistics platforms used for procurement and shipment tracking
- Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.
