Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring smooth operations, and driving efficiency across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure that products are delivered on time, at the best cost, and with the highest quality.

• Supply Chain Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals, focusing on optimizing cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors to ensure the best prices and service levels.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring the right balance of stock to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
• Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate logistics and distribution activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers and warehouses. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to manage transportation and warehousing operations.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services, and resolve any supply chain issues as they arise.
• Demand Forecasting: Work with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and adjust supply chain plans accordingly to meet customer demand.
• Process Improvement: Continuously analyze and improve supply chain processes to reduce lead times, cut costs, and enhance overall efficiency and quality. Implement best practices and lean principles to streamline operations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions (e.g., natural disasters, supplier issues, geopolitical events).
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data analytics to track supply chain performance, identify trends, and generate insights. Prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics, including delivery performance, cost analysis, and inventory levels.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, ensuring effective training, performance evaluations, and employee growth.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to supply chain operations, including customs and import/export laws.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, with a track record of managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions to improve supply chain performance.
• ERP & Supply Chain Software: Proficiency in using supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and tools for forecasting, inventory management, and reporting.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers, logistics providers, and other third parties.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues in the supply chain and implement effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal teams, senior management, suppliers, and external partners.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) are highly desirable.
• Experience with International Supply Chains: Experience in managing global supply chains and understanding of international logistics, customs, and import/export regulations.
• Sustainability Focus: Experience in implementing sustainable supply chain practices and reducing environmental impact.
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Experience with advanced analytics or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to manage and optimize supply chain processes.
