Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure that products are sourced, manufactured, and delivered in an efficient, cost-effective, and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that align with business goals, ensuring a seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, minimize excess inventory, and reduce stockouts while balancing storage costs.
  • Procurement Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and source materials, goods, or services, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Oversee the planning and execution of logistics and transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
  • Demand Forecasting: Work with sales and production teams to forecast demand accurately and ensure supply chain operations align with demand levels.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain process and implement improvements that reduce costs, lead times, and increase overall productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative work environment and providing guidance for continuous development and improvement.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and address potential risks in the supply chain, including supplier disruptions, transportation delays, or changes in market conditions.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report key supply chain metrics (e.g., order accuracy, on-time delivery, cost reduction) and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with local regulations and industry standards, while also working towards sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality service, timely deliveries, and cost-effective pricing.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to inspire and guide a team to meet objectives.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of local and international supply chain regulations, logistics providers, and suppliers.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail with a focus on optimizing processes and ensuring the accuracy of orders, deliveries, and stock levels.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing conditions and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (Not Required):
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or retail supply chain operations.
  • Experience managing global supply chains or dealing with international suppliers.
