Job Description

Supplier Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier and subcontractor compliance to company's quality standards and all applicable external certification requirements across global sites
  • Develop and implement strategies and standardize global supplier quality development procedures
  • Conduct Supplier Selection and Evaluation, collaborating with procurement, R&D, and engineering to make informed sourcing decisions based on quality criteria (APQP, PPAP).
  • Ensure supplied materials comply with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and eliminate / mitigate risks associated with supplier performance (FMEA), including implementing systematic risk contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve the quality of supply materials, processes and performance.
  • Track, and drive closure including root cause validation, and recovery of applicable claims

Qualifications

  • 10 -12 years of experience in Supplier Quality ideally in automotive or electronics or similar industry
  • Masters / Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical OR Electronics, OR similar field)
  • Experience in supplier quality, negotiations, problem solving, 8D, Audit, FMEA, SPC
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
