About the Role
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Student Care Teacher to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting primary school students in their after-school care, guiding them academically and socially in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students
- Guide students in completing their daily homework and spelling
- Plan and conduct enrichment activities (e.g. reading, board games)
- Maintain classroom discipline and positive behavior
- Prepare simple lesson materials and activity plans
- Communicate effectively with parents on students progress when required
- Perform basic administrative duties related to student care
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR)
- Minimum GCE O Level / NITEC / Diploma (or equivalent)
- Passion for working with children aged 7-12 years old
- Patient, responsible, and nurturing personality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in student care / tuition / teaching is an advantage
Working Hours
- Full-time: Monday to Friday (e.g., 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Part-time: Flexible hours (afternoons preferred)
