Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Structural Engineering or its equivalent
- Prefer PE certified or degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Min 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proficient in STAADPro or equivalent
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and drafting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out civil and structural design for projects, ensuring compliance with local rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Prepare drawings and organize design reviews for various structural elements.
- Design, develop, and model structural steelwork in a realistic manner and depending on the concepts provided by the engineer and management, develop the tender, submission, shop, fabrication drawings.
- Review project specifications and local standards to ensure compliance.
- Analyze structure designs and recommend modifications as necessary.
- Provide technical advice on construction materials and installation methods.
- Liaise with Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel on design submissions to relevant authorities and follow up for approval.
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project issues.
- Guide designers in preparing structural drawings and coordinate requirements with other disciplines.
- Work closely with Project Managers and other team members to ensure project success.
