Job Summary
Support project management by supervising on-site M&E activities, coordinating multi-disciplinary works, managing technical documentation, and ensuring quality control to deliver projects on schedule and to specification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager and Senior Engineer in supervising daily on-site mechanical and electrical activities to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare material quantity take-offs and build Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement processes.
- Manage progress and coordinate Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary works, including submission of drawings and method statements.
- Conduct site inspections to identify and report discrepancies, defects, or inconsistencies in construction drawings.
- Collaborate closely with Structural and Architectural teams to resolve service clashes and ensure seamless integration.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, HVAC, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or MEP design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
- Familiarity with Singapore Codes of Practice
