Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead M&E coordination, oversee technical implementation, manage client and authority interactions, and ensure quality and timely delivery of MEP services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and management of all M&E works, ensuring seamless coordination between Electrical, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems to achieve project objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for client representatives, addressing service diversions, regulatory certificates, and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in performing quantity take-offs, building Bills of Materials (BOMs), and reviewing subcontractor method statements and drawings to maintain technical standards.
- Lead on-site quality control processes to ensure all installations comply with the Singapore Code of Practice and relevant safety regulations.
- Support the Project Manager in high-level planning and monitoring to ensure MEP services are delivered on schedule and within budget constraints.
Required competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by PEB for Professional Engineer registration.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project to support design and project scheduling tasks.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit software to enhance project coordination and visualization.
- Proven experience managing authority submissions and leading client-facing technical meetings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on cost management and project efficiency.
