Structural Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role located in Singapore, with some flexibility for remote work. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural calculations and analyses to ensure the safety and stability of construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing structural designs, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, collaborating with architects and other engineers, and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. The engineer may also be responsible for site inspections and providing technical guidance during construction phases.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles
• Proficient in performing Calculations and conducting Structural Analysis
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, and construction practices
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering) with licensure or accreditation as a professional engineer (PE) preferred
• Prior experience in construction projects or related fields will be advantageous
