Role Description
This full-time position for a Structural Engineer is based on-site in Queenstown. The role involves performing structural analysis, creating detailed engineering calculations, and designing structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with the team to deliver technically sound solutions, utilize computer-aided design tools, and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to project planning and work closely with other disciplines to achieve successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Structural Engineering, Structural Analysis, and proficiency in performing engineering calculations
- Expertise in Civil Engineering and basic understanding of related disciplines
- Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for structural design
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Good communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or eligibility for registration is a plus
- Previous experience in the design and delivery of projects in both urban and remote environments is desirable
