Job Summary
Lead and coordinate site construction activities to ensure timely project completion, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while providing technical guidance and collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and safety personnel.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work schedules with clients and subcontractors to achieve on-time project completion and attend site project meetings to communicate progress
- Produce daily work progress reports to track and document construction milestones and challenges
- Plan, schedule, and supervise site work execution to align with project timelines and quality objectives
- Provide technical advice and supervise site personnel to ensure construction activities meet specifications and project requirements
- Collaborate with safety personnel to enforce compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations on site
- Oversee daily construction activities to meet project progress targets and maintain quality standards
- Supervise subcontractors and direct manpower to complete projects within budget and timeframe constraints
- Verify that construction work and materials comply with project specifications and quality standards
- Ensure adherence to Singapore Government regulations regarding safety, building plans, structural plans, and environmental requirements
- Prepare progress claims and verify subcontractor claims to support accurate project financial management
- Lead or assist in RE/RTO inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and project approval
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Architectural knowledge to support integrated construction planning and execution
- BCSS and other relevant certifications to enhance compliance and technical expertise
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
