Strategic Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for a STRATEGIC PURCHASING ASSISTANT in Singapore to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes by providing administrative and operational process improvement to ensure the efficient operation of the Purchasing Department .

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update purchasing processes and procedures
• Maintain vendor management and qualification
• Monitor, review and audit supplier's reliability
• Generate reports
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of inventory records with suppliers reference data

Essential Functions

• Coordinate with purchasing team and update workflows and procedures
• Assist and update vendor's ratings (review/corrective actions, etc)
• Assist and update trade referencing checking
• Assist in generating specific supplier and internal reports
• Support the purchasing team with administration duties, where applicable
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of office or purchasing experience preferred
• Computer literate: experience with complex ERP systems, AI Features in Excel and VBA preferred
• Able to communicate in English, written and oral, fluency in English preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
