Mikron Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer to support post‑sales service activities for automated machinery systems. This role focuses on front‑line customer support, machine productivity and reliability, and close collaboration with internal teams and external customers across Asia.
Your Main Tasks
- Deliver post‑sales support activities as defined by the Assistant Customer Service Manager.
- Provide front‑line technical support to maintain productivity and reliability of delivered systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on automated machines (on‑site and remotely)
- Support development and implementation of machine upgrades or modifications based on customer requests.
- Ensure product quality and process reliability in accordance with SAT performance standards.
- Provide technical advice to customers and internal teams regarding intervention project specifications.
- Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required.
Your Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- ITE, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in automation or machine‑building industry.
- Experience in customer service support, machine diagnostics, or post‑sales technical roles preferred.
- Strong understanding of shop practices, customer service flow, and machine design concepts.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and Inventor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is an advantage.
