This is a 6-month contract, hybrid role with a leading US MNC social media client in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build strategic partnerships with leading creators and developers across mobile, PC, console, and emerging platforms (e.g., Roblox, Minecraft) to reach the next generation of gamers
- Represent externally, providing thought leadership in executive meetings with partner stakeholders
- Drive platform adoption by guiding partners to integrate and leverage new features
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Content Policy teams to deliver partner success
- Analyze and communicate key metrics and business trends to inform partnership strategies at scale
- Source new opportunities by leveraging industry expertise to identify and cultivate partners from GCR and other regions
- Consult and grow existing partners to maximize their success on the platform
- Navigate change by adapting quickly to product updates and communicating implications strategically to internal and external stakeholders
- Resolve issues by working cross-functionally to triage and address operational challenges for developer partners
- Advocate internally by aligning partner needs with product and platform teams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in business development, account management, or strategic partnerships within gaming or related industries
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required for this role as it involves regular communication and collaboration with Mandarin-speaking partners in the Greater China Region.
- Flexibility in support both APAC and EMEA timezones
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of management, internally and externally
- Track record of defining, initiating, and driving business opportunities in fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of the gaming industry landscape
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Deep domain expertise in mobile, PC, console gaming ecosystems, or emerging platforms (Roblox, Minecraft, etc.)
- Experience navigating mobile platform ecosystems (iOS, Android, app stores)
- Familiarity with AI-native ways of working, with a strong willingness to embrace, learn, and evangelize the use of AI in game production, partner relationship management, and project management.
- Ability to balance day-to-day operations with structuring and maintaining complex strategic relationships
- Familiarity with the company's product ecosystem and platform capabilities
- Prior experience working with developers and content creators in the GCR market
- Keen eye for identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends in mobile and gaming
