Job Description:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, performance, and profitability of the outlet. This includes sales management, staff supervision, customer service excellence, inventory control, financial accountability, compliance, and business development to ensure the store achieves its targets and maintains brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

  • Monitor daily sales performance and KPIs

  • Develop sales strategies and promotional plans

  • Upsell and cross-sell products/services

  • Analyze sales reports and market trends

  • Drive customer retention and loyalty programs

2. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily store operations

  • Ensure smooth workflow and service delivery

  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies

  • Manage store opening and closing procedures

3. Staff Management & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff

  • Conduct staff performance evaluations

  • Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower planning

  • Motivate and coach team members

  • Handle staff disciplinary matters

  • Build a positive and productive work environment

4. Customer Service Excellence

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally

  • Maintain service quality standards

  • Build strong customer relationships

  • Monitor customer feedback and improve service standards

5. Inventory & Stock Control

  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies

  • Conduct regular stock audits

  • Minimize stock loss and wastage

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors

  • Ensure proper stock storage and documentation

6. Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Manage store budget and expenses

  • Monitor profit and loss (P&L) performance

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports

  • Handle cash management and banking

  • Ensure accurate record keeping

  • Process invoices and payments

7. Marketing & Business Development

  • Implement marketing campaigns

  • Organize in-store promotions and events

  • Monitor competitors activities

  • Identify new business opportunities

  • Build partnerships and community engagement

8. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations

  • Maintain workplace safety standards

  • Ensure proper licensing and permits

  • Enforce hygiene and safety guidelines

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail/service management experience
  • Experience in spa, beauty, wellness, or hospitality industry preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
