Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Steel Structure Drafter to support our engineering and project teams in delivering accurate and timely shop drawings for steel structure works in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-build drawings, and fabrication drawings for steel structures (e.g. bollards, gratings, structural components)
- Interpret structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance
- Revise drawings based on comments and site conditions
- Ensure drawings comply with standards and project specifications
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers when necessary
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory) knowledge of Tekla or other 3D software is an advantage
- Experience in steel structure drafting / fabrication drawings preferred
- Familiar with Singapore construction practices and standards is an advantage
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Good coordination and communication skills
