Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution and delivery of automation projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Assist in electrical design, panel development, and system programming (PLC, HMI, and control systems)
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system simulations, and on-site commissioning
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise automation systems, including PLCs, HMI, instrumentation, and industrial networks
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
- Work with cross-functional teams to support production, maintenance, and process improvements
- Manage and update technical documentation including AutoCAD drawings, system backups, and control configurations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and system enhancements
- Collaborate with external vendors and system integrators for implementation and upgrades
Technical Exposure
- PLC programming, configuration, and maintenance
- HMI development and support
- Industrial networking (I/O systems, Ethernet/LAN)
- Instrumentation, calibration, and PID tuning
- Drives (AC/DC, servo) and robotic systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- No experience needed, training provided
- Proven experience in industrial automation and control systems will be at an advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic production environment
- A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
