About the Role
StudioMilou Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Technical Manager to coordinate design and documentation, manage cross‑border teams, and act as a key liaison between our Singapore and Ha Noi studios. The position is based in Singapore, with regular collaboration with our Vietnam office and international partners, and requires a Vietnamese speaker.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between the Singapore and Ha Noi studios to ensure smooth communication and coordination on competitions and architectural projects.
- Plan and oversee design schedules, deliverables, and workflows for project teams in both Singapore and Vietnam.
- Manage and support remote teams working through online collaboration platforms, ensuring clear communication and quality control.
- Oversee day‑to‑day technical and documentation activities of the Vietnam‑based team, including design proposals and revisions.
- Review and coordinate conceptual, detailed, and construction drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant Singapore and Vietnam regulations.
- Manage and improve the architectural documentation system and internal platforms.
- Monitor project spending and invoicing in collaboration with administrators in Singapore and Vietnam.
- Maintain strong, professional client relationships, coordinate the issuance of drawings and specifications, and support contract preparation and negotiations.
- Coordinate with authorities, consultants, and subcontractors for permit submissions and technical resolutions.
- Prepare and submit regular project and team reports to the Directors.
Candidate Requirements and Profile
- Master's degree in architecture; experience in an international design firm is an advantage.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and proficient in English.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in reputable architectural firms.
- Proven experience in both the Singapore and Vietnam architectural markets.
- Strong track record in managing design and technical teams, including remote/online collaboration.
- Excellent knowledge of detailed construction drawings, structures, and relevant design and construction regulations.
- High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Lumion, Enscape, Microsoft Office, 3D Max, and SketchUp.
- Able to travel to Vietnam and other locations as required.
- Creative, self‑motivated and responsible, with a strong sense of accountability.
