DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll guide a collaborative team of Application Scientists while supporting customer success and technical excellence. This leadership role combines scientific expertise with business understanding to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive growth. You'll oversee pre- and post-sales technical support, manage customer education programs, and develop innovative solutions across our product portfolio.
Leading the team of Application Scientists and working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop and implement initiatives to grow the business through funnel building and conversion, enhance customer satisfaction through post sales and expand market presence. You'll support a culture of continuous improvement while mentoring your team to deliver outstanding technical support and customer service. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on both customer success and team development while advancing scientific innovation.
REQUIREMENTS:
. Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry with 8-10 years of experience in the life sciences or a related industry (bachelor's degree holders are also welcome to apply), along with demonstrated technical expertise in mass spectrometry and chromatography.
. Proven track record of developing and executing strategic customer support initiatives
. Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management
. Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
. Deep technical knowledge in relevant scientific applications and methodologies
. Ability to travel up to 40-50% of time
. Experience managing customer education programs and technical training initiatives
