Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders, underwriters, and product owners to understand requirements.
- Lead requirements elicitation workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Work on underwriting workflows, rating, quoting, and policy lifecycle processes.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams for portal design and user experience improvements.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams.
- Ensure traceability of requirements and alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in P&C Insurance, especially Underwriting.
- Hands-on experience with digital portals, broker portals, or customer portals.
- Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and articulation skills.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Figma.
