As part of the Corporate Communications team, you will play a key role in telling these stories, raising awareness of mental health issues and strengthening IMH's position as the leading mental health institution for psychiatric care, research and education. Public outreach, media communication and stakeholder engagement are the main vehicles we ride on to achieve these objectives.
We are looking for a proactive and driven individual with relevant experience and a passion for mental health, to drive communication efforts in growing awareness and advocacy for mental health.

You will be part of a team that plans and implements corporate communications programmes, including media publicity, branding, public education and outreach, and internal communication.

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore, established in 1928, is a premier 2,000-bed psychiatric hospital nestled in Buangkok Green Medical Park, providing comprehensive mental health services across 50 inpatient wards and 7 outpatient clinics, while also playing a pivotal role in training the next generation of mental health professionals through the NHG-AHPL Residency Programme and collaborations with local academic institutions.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Good written English skills; proficiency in a second language is an advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A passion for mental health
- A good degree in Communications or related discipline with 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Excel and Word). Knowledge of statistics is advantageous.
- Proficient in design tools and video editing software (e.g. Canva, CapCut) is an advantage
