Specialist, Sales & Sponsorship Outreach

THE ROLE:

The Specialist, Sales and Sponsorship outreach is responsible for assisting sales team on selling exhibit space and sponsorship opportunities for SEMI Southeast Asia industry events. The duties include sales outreach and answering the phone, scheduling appointments and preparing sales contracts and agreements. They may be required to research potential customers and sales leads. You may also be required to perform internet searches for information that could be useful to the sales team.

This position reports directly to the Team Lead, Sales & Sponsorship Outreach at SEMI SEA Office.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Meeting revenue goals - Selling exhibit space/sponsorships, conferences and similar events.

. Monitor Debtor's aging - Follow up with any customer or supplier with outstanding payments and facilitate collection from overdue accounts as necessary.

. Maintain and update record -To manage Exhibition files such as exhibitor and visitor database ensuring that internal processes are fully adhered to and on pre-agreed timelines.

. Customer focus -Commitment to upholding our values and engaging in personal and professional development.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

. Excellent interpersonal communication. Ability to handle difficult situations.

. Driven to meet sales goals

. Ability to develop a prospect list and sales pipeline for multiple events through internet research, calls, emails, and social media.

CRITICAL SKILLS:

. Positive, customer service skills

. Strong communications and presentation skills

. Meeting facilitation skills

. Event coordination skills

KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE:

. Education in equivalent experience or professional qualification.

. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

. Exhibit and Sponsorship sales experience

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills.

. 1+ years of MICE exhibit and sponsorship sales experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You have excellent team support with strong verbal and written communication skills. You can respond to customer complaints and queries and will ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.
