Special Education Teacher

This is a part-time remote role for a Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher will support and instruct students with diverse disabilities, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs), goal setting, and progress evaluation. Daily tasks will include lesson planning, conducting virtual classes, adapting teaching strategies to meet varying needs, collaborating with parents and staff, and maintaining effective communication with all relevant stakeholders.

• Experience working with individuals with Disabilities and a strong understanding of their needs
• Proven ability in Teaching and providing instruction tailored to students with varying abilities
• Background in Middle School education, with experience in age-appropriate instructional strategies
• Advanced knowledge of Special Education practices, including developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent Communication skills to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Patience, empathy, and a deep commitment to fostering positive learning outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (required) and appropriate teaching certifications
