Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated Sous Chef to maintain dish quality and consistency while collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute dishes following recipes and guidelines to achieve high-quality standards
- Taking charge of the kitchen when the Head Chef is not in
- Oversee a designated kitchen section to ensure operational efficiency and consistent food quality
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards to comply with regulatory requirements
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain kitchen efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support smooth kitchen operations
- Apply good knife skills in food preparation, with butchery experience considered an advantage
- Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrate integrity and a strong willingness to learn and contribute to team growth
