Software Tester

6 months renewable contract

Salary: 3000 to 4500 SGD (depending on overall experience and skills)

Qualifications/Required Competencies

• 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) tester
• Open to fresh graduates
• Has a good understanding of risk/fraud management and good knowledge on the latest fraud and scam trends (preferred)
• Hands-on experience in testing applications in web and mobile environments in banking domains
• Experience in using JIRA as a defect management tool as well as in Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Experience in consumer banking domain/applications (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment is a must

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and user interface/user experience (UIUX) requirements to create test plans and strategy for the fraud-related, regulatory and other digital banking projects which involve the fraud surveillance system
• Create test scenarios and test cases for UAT
• Execute the test cases and document the test outcomes to ensure application functions according to requirements
• Raise, track and retest defects to their resolution
• Work closely with the project manager, product owner and IT Teams to resolve any defects
• Create test status and completion reports
