Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

Functional Testing

. Develop test cases and test scripts.

. Execute SIT, UAT and regression testing.

. Validate functional and non-functional requirements.

. Verify fixes and perform retesting.

Requirements Validation

. Review requirements and functional design documents.

. Ensure test coverage of functional requirements.

. Support RTM updates.

Defect Management

. Raise and track defects.

. Validate defect resolutions.

. Participate in defect review meetings.

Data Validation

. Execute database validation activities.

. Verify data migration results.

. Perform backend testing where required.

Integration Testing

. Validate interfaces with external systems.

. Conduct API testing and integration testing.

. Verify end-to-end workflows.

Documentation

. Prepare test evidence.

. Update test execution reports.

. Maintain testing artefacts and repositories

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.

. ISTQB Foundation certification preferred.

. Minimum 3-5 years software testing experience.

. Experience in enterprise system projects.

. Experience with SIT and UAT support.
