Senior Application Developer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js for the frontend and Java, Spring/Spring Boot for the backend. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our financial platforms and applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services.

Frontend Development: Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. Ensure a seamless user experience by integrating with internal APIs and implementing robust client-side logic.

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Optimize server-side performance and ensure data integrity and security.

Work on integrating various financial systems and third-party services, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack, providing support for both development and production environments.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Profound hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills

Deep knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS) and technologies (Typescript, Node.js)

Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM).

Core Java & related utilities/libraries, particularly collections, JSON, JDBC, Maven.

Spring Framework including Spring Boot, JDBC templates and JPA.

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Basic understanding of Unix Operating system and bash scripting

Very good English and communication skills

Good code review skills, and pride in code quality

Team player, Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Ability to work in an agile environment.

Willing to work in a global team
