About our client: Our client is a leading Construction and Civil Engineering company supporting the Oil & Gas and Chemical Processing Industry.
About the role:
- Lead and supervise soft services operations across all COMPANY offices and sites in Bukom and/or Jurong Island, including cleaning, catering (working closely with appointed food catering, laundry services, coffee machines, pantry supplies providers, and/or other COMPANY-appointed suppliers), waste management, pest control, landscaping, tree health, general site support, front-of-house services, and occasional events management.
- Ensure soft services providers (in-house or outsourced) comply with agreed scope, SLAs, KPIs, site HSE, and quality standards.
- Support events and administrative coordination, and act as the permit applicant/requestor for all soft services and site support, ensuring timely approvals and documentation as per scope.
- Manage budgets, costs, and supplier contracts for soft services, optimizing value without compromising standards.
- Implement innovation and sustainability initiatives (e.g., green cleaning, recycling programs).
- Act as the primary liaison for client feedback on workplace experience and service adjustments, and serve as the main focal point with external welfare & wildlife management societies for animal/wildlife-related issues.
- Support the Key Account Lead and Soft Services Site Manager/Lead in client reporting, service reviews, and contract scope performance.
- Ensure proper soft-services documentation and adherence to established change management controls for the site.
About you:
- Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality/Hotel Management, Business/Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in soft services/facilities management, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large corporate environments (experience at Bukom, Jurong Island, or similar sites is an advantage).
- Experience supporting cleaning, catering, waste management, pest control, landscaping, tree health, animal welfare & wildlife management, front-of-house operations, and site-wide events.
- Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, HSE, and quality standards in soft services.
- Experience in budget tracking, cost optimization, and supplier/contract support.
- Ability to coordinate administrative and permit processes, ensuring timely approvals and documentation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and external wildlife/welfare organizations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software is preferred.
