Social Media Manager

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a growing retail and online presence across the region. We're seeking a Social Media Manager to own Beyond The Vines social presence end-to-end. In this role, you will shape and execute our social media strategy across priority markets and platforms, from content creation through to publishing and performance analysis. You'll be responsible for upholding an elevated, design-led brand voice while driving measurable growth, engagement, and traffic to both our retail and e-commerce channels. Responsibilities include:

Strategy & Planning

• Develop the global social strategy and market playbooks; translate brand pillars and product drops into platform-specific narratives.
• Build and run a 12-month editorial calendar synced to product drops, collaborations, store openings, and retail activations.
• Partner with the Brand Art Director and Visual Comms teams to set the creative bar and ensure visual consistency across all channels.

Content & Publishing

• Lead concepting, storyboarding, and briefs for photo/video shoots; manage asset production (short-form video, stills, carousels, Stories) and livestreams.
• Write and localise captions with an elevated tone of voice; maintain a social style guide and UGC rights/crediting standards.
• Own daily publishing and hygiene: tagging, link tracking, pinning, playlisting, and highlight curation.

Community & Creators

• Oversee community management and social care escalation with CS; set SLAs for response and moderation.
• Partner with Influencer Marketing on seeding and creator collaborations; align content usage rights and deliverables.

Market Localisation & Platform Ownership

• Global (Key Markets SG/PH/ID): Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest.
• Thailand: Instagram, LINE
• Japan: Instagram, LINE, X
• China: Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat (OA & Channels), Weibo; launch Douyin in the future.
• Ensure local nuance without diluting global brand equity; maintain a one brand, many markets framework.

Measurement & Optimisation

• Define KPIs and reporting cadence; build dashboards that connect social metrics to traffic, conversion, and CRM growth.
• Run structured experimentation (hooks, formats, lengths, CTAs, posting windows); share learnings in monthly reviews.
• Manage social budget lines (boosting, whitelisting, content production) and support paid/Performance Marketing with audience and creative insights.

Governance & Operations

• Maintain the content calendar, asset library, and ensure version control across markets.
• Uphold music/licensing compliance and platform policies; manage UGC permissions and brand safety.

Requirements include:

• 5–7+ years in social media for premium lifestyle/fashion or design-led brands; multi-market remit preferred.
• Strong creative judgement (visual + copy), with hands-on experience producing short-form video and directing shoots.
• Platform fluency: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube/Shorts, Pinterest; LINE (Japan), Xiaohongshu/WeChat/Weibo (China).
• Data-driven: able to translate analytics into actionable creative and scheduling decisions (GA4, platform insights, UTM discipline).
• Excellent English copywriting; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Japanese is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable collaborating with designers, editors, photographers, and external agencies.
