I. Job Responsibilities
1. Site Management and Coordination
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to schedule, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize resource allocation and work progress.
2. Quality and Safety Monitoring
- Inspect construction quality to ensure compliance with Singapore standards (e.g., HDB, BCA).
- Strictly enforce safety regulations (e.g., WSH Act), conduct safety meetings, identify potential hazards, and prevent accidents.
3. Progress Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor project progress, promptly report any delays or issues, and assist in developing countermeasures.
- Maintain site logs, inspection records, and submit daily/weekly progress reports.
4. Technical Guidance and Communication
- Provide technical guidance to workers to resolve on-site issues and assist in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Act as the primary on-site liaison for clients, engineers, and government personnel.
5. Material and Equipment Management
- Oversee the inspection, storage, and use of materials to ensure they meet standards and minimize waste.
- Check equipment maintenance status and coordinate repairs and scheduling.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of construction site supervisor experience in Singapore, with familiarity of local construction processes and regulations.
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and using project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to adapt to a high-intensity work environment outdoors.
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure and unexpected situations.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written communication).
