Site Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily fireproofing, painting and coating works at construction sites.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Main Contractor, RE/RTO and other stakeholders on site matters, inspections and work progress.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure proper work methods, productivity, quality and timely completion.
• Review drawings, specifications and site requirements to ensure works are carried out correctly.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment usage, and maintain proper site records.
• Ensure compliance with WSH, safety, quality and housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor site progress and report any issues, delays or safety/quality concerns to the Project Manager.
• Prepare site inspection reports and other required documentation.
• Identify and recommend improvements to work methods, efficiency and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
• May be required to work night shifts, weekends or outside normal working hours depending on project requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction/site supervision experience, preferably in painting, coating or fireproofing.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Relevant WSH certifications, preferably Supervise Construction Work for WSH and Manage Work at Height.
• Good knowledge of construction practices, WSH requirements and site operations.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin to communicate with workers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Good communication, coordination and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Familiar with construction tools, equipment and coating application methods.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment and according to project requirements.
• Candidate resides in or near Woodlands is preferred.
