Roles and Responsibilities of a Site Supervisor

• Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, and engineers to meet project timelines.
• Inspect and monitor work progress to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain site records and documentation, including daily reports, attendance, and material usage.
• Ensure workplace safety by enforcing safety regulations and conducting toolbox meetings.
• Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and materials for daily tasks.
• Report site issues or delays to the project manager or site engineer.
• Inspect materials delivered to site to ensure quality and correctness.
• Ensure workmanship meets quality standards before handover or inspection.
• Assist in problem-solving and provide on-site guidance to workers.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and progress according to schedule.
