Site supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Supervision & Management:

  • Oversee daily ground operations, installation, and maintenance activities for M&E / electrical works on site.

  • Coordinate daily workflows, site activities, and shift assignments with technicians, sub-contractors, and site teams.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship, materials, and installations comply with project specifications and standard operating procedures.

  • Monitor project progress against schedules and report delays or operational issues to the Project Manager/Engineer promptly.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce site safety regulations, risk assessments, and environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.

  • Conduct tool-box meetings, safety briefings, and ensure all site workers adhere to Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures and proper PPE requirements.

  • Liaise with Safety Officers, Main Contractors, and clients to resolve site issues and maintain safe working conditions.

• Documentation & Technical Coordination:

  • Read and interpret site drawings, electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and layout plans.

  • Maintain daily site logs, inspection reports, material delivery records, and site progress photos.

  • Verify site measurements and assist with material take-offs and equipment inventory management.

Job Requirements

• Higher Nitec / Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building/Construction, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in site supervision, M&E works, or electrical installation projects.

• Possession of valid Singapore safety certifications (e.g., BCSS / Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant) is an advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage site personnel and sub-contractors effectively.

• Willingness to work on-site and handle physical work conditions as required by project needs.
